Greenbriar Children’s Center

Greenbriar Children’s Center targets children ages 11-21 and seeks to provide services which promote the healthy development of children and strengthening families.
Project Care–Runaway/homeless youth program that assist youth in need of temporary shelter (14 days), counseling, family support or anything else that threatens family stability. This program serves youth ages 10-17 years old. POC: Terry Cassidy 912-236-8789.
Transitional Living Program- Youth ages 16-21 who are homeless, runaways, or without caretakers. Youth in this program may have aged out of foster care. Supervised housing and support services are provided up to 18 months. 912-236-7692.
Supportive Housing- Serves homeless youth ages 17-21. Teen mothers with one child may also receive services. Services include housing, support services, parenting skills and referral to other agencies. 912-233-3738.
Park Place Outreach
(Formally Savannah Runaway Home)

Park Place Outreach: provides services to at-risk youth and families in the Savannah area with an emphasis on those ineligible for adult or family emergency shelters. The program seeks to reunite families and to help the youth function within the community. Park Place targets 11 to 17 year olds and offers a structured environment, by having them participate in outreach projects in the community and counseling. They have 12 beds available. The maximum length of stay is 2 weeks; after 2 weeks the case will be re-evaluated.
